B2B implementations rarely fail because of technology. Most often it is one of these:
- Scope grows during the project, and the budget with it
- We start with discovery and a specification and split the work into stages. Each stage has a scope and a price (fixed price), and changes are estimated before we build them.
- The ERP integration turns out harder than expected
- We check the ERP options at the start of the project. Integrations have monitoring and alerts when data exchange stops.
- Product data is incomplete
- We agree on the data model before migration and check data completeness before launch. For large catalogs we suggest a PIM.
- The team does not adopt the new system
- A demo after each iteration with the people who will use the platform, and training before launch.
- Vendor lock-in
- Copyright to the code passes to you once each stage is paid for, we hand over the repository on request, and Endora Commerce is open source (MIT licence).
- A failure after launch
- Launch without downtime, and under maintenance a response to a critical bug within 2 business hours.
